US Vice President JD Vance praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his warm personality and hospitality towards his family during his four-day official visit to India. He said his son, Ewan, 7, told him he wanted to live in India after meeting with PM Modi.
US Vice President JD Vance, who is on a four-day visit to India, on Tuesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his hospitality towards his family and said his three children were very fond of him. He also revealed that his seven-year-old son, Ewan, told him that he could live in India after meeting with PM Modi.
Delivering an address on India-US relations at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC) in Jaipur, Vance said his family had been touched by PM Modi’s graciousness and highlighted the rapport his children had with PM Modi.
“My son Ewan is seven-years-old. He’s our first newborn son. Yesterday we had dinner at the Prime Minister’s house. The food was so good and he was so kind to our three children. Ewan came to me afterwards and said, ‘Dad, I think I can live in India’,” Vance said.
